*LEADERS*
Kajsa Norrby is a singer, songwriter and choir leader from Sweden. Her musical background is classical singing, world music and theatre.
Kajsa is a creative, inspirational and experienced leader. She is a Natural Voice practitioner and also founder and artistic director of Långrådna Culture Center.
"Singing is your birthright, it creates energy and community, connection and harmony. I lead by oral tradition á cappella and welcome everyone to raise their voice."
Kajsa focuses a lot on the presence of the body and breath in singing and uses exercises from theatre, improvisation and singing technique in a creative playful mix. She works both at Långrånda and freelance.
Louise Raven-Tiémélé is a Singer, Harmonizer and Choir Leader from London. She has an infectious passion for teaching beautiful a cappella harmonies and is skilled at creating a fun, supportive environment. Louise is a Natural Voice practitioner, qualified teacher and world music specialist who has benefitted from training with experts from Bulgarian, Russian, South African, South Indian and other musical traditions.
Louise has established and directed adult and children’s choirs in a range of contexts, including Southfields Sings, an adult community choir singing world, folk and gospel music. She also researched, co-produced and arranged ‘World Lullabies’, an album of 15 traditional lullabies from around the world.
A choir member writes: “Louise is an excellent choir leader and teacher - she holds a safe and encouraging space in which people of mixed abilities can unite and enjoy the benefits and rewards of harmony in song.”
