SINGING
WORLD MUSIC
SELF SUFFICiENCY
Welcome to Sweden and to Långrådna Kultur. Our small, genuine homey retreat centre with focus on voice, song and world music. A place for dreams and visions, creativity, self sufficiency and community.
Here, in the beautiful landscape on the East coast, lies our old, now converted, small holding with ancestry going back to the 19th century. In the “middle of now-here”. No shops, no pubs, but lots of forest, lakes and beautiful nature.
At the centre Kajsa Norrby regularly organise and run courses, trainings, workshops, retreats and camps in art, music and especially singing and voice work within Vocal Process Art, Collaborative vocal improvisation and Circle singing.
Our speciality is to do everything with a warm heart and great profession and to invite you to genuine, intimate and present moments with high quality music and workshops. We offer a contrast to the big arenas. A place where you can feel connection, be seen and feel that you belong.
You are welcome as you are! Let's share some beautiful moments together.
“No matter how many of us there are - this place is always intimate and genuine.
Thank you for enrichening our lives!”
We offer great concerts when we have the possibility to do so. It is a lot of work to arrange a concert, it is a work for a “eldsjäl - fire soul”. So when we do it we are really careful about what we choose to offer. We want to give you the best of the best, often within folk and world music.
Sometimes we offer house concerts, sometimes outside, sometimes in the barn and sometimes in the village hall.
Some of the artists we have had the honour to have:
Hoven Droven, Quilty, Rowan Godel, Hazelius Hedin, 232 Strängar, Dag westling, John Leo Carter, Lamine Cissokho, Blå Bergens Borduner.

At the farm we have our own vegetable garden with chickens and bees and three sheep.
There are different accommodation opportunities at the farm and in the area e.g. camping, hostels, airbnb. When we are not using the venue for workshops and concerts its available to rent as a holiday home with four beds, kitchen and bathroom. We also have two big canvas-tents for glamping.
Volunteers are welcome to help us at the farm and the culture centre. If you are interested, keep in touch. There are always things to do at the farm, digging, planting, taking care of the bees and chickens, or building something. You can come over the day or stay for longer.
“Welcome to our home!
We have:
rooms for workshops and concerts
a garden for contemplation
a kitchen to meet in
beautiful nature all around
ideas & dreams”
